Warren Buffett (yes, <em>that one<\/em> of Berkshire Hathaway) not only bought Lennar stock \u2014 he <strong>multiplied by almost 50<\/strong> the participation that I already had in it.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And I ask you: would he do this in a declining sector?<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. What is this Lennar thing, and why does it matter?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lennar is one of the largest homebuilders in the United States. It delivers homes of all types\u2014from affordable to <a href=\"https:\/\/jendantas.com\/en\/communities\/\">communities<\/a> planned. The main focus? And the market caught on quickly: Lennar shares rose from 5% to 6% in pre-market trading. Because when Buffett enters the market, investors pay attention.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And that echoes throughout the market \u2014 including here in Florida.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. The logic behind the movement: interest and demand<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, US interest rates are still around 6.5%\u20136.8%. But there are signs of a moderate decline on the radar, especially if inflation remains under control.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now combine this with another fact: <strong>the housing deficit in the US exceeds 4 million homes<\/strong>. This means that even with high interest rates, construction will continue \u2014 because <strong>the demand is real and structural<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And do you know who needs a home? Millennials and Gen Z, who are starting families, seeking stability, and moving out of rental housing. In other words, more buyers are entering the market!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
